Ada Chu

At the age of 6, Ada Chu joined the Chinese Orchestra of Leung Tsing Tak Elementary School in Hong Kong and started learning Liu Qin. After her immigration to Canada in 1997, she learned Zhong Ruan from Ruan player, Ms. Zhi-Min Yu. In 2000, Ada joined BCCO. She then became the Section Leader of the plucked section. In 2005, she won the Champion of the Open Plucked String Class of the Vancouver Kiwanis Music Festival.
